My parents had this camera when they first got married. I am shooting a black and white roll of film with it today. I’m pretty sure I like shooting film better than shooting digital. I wish I had my own darkroom.

I had the same camera when i first went to Uni, and you’re right: there’s something very real about the apple-bite sound of the shutter mechanism. Sadly, digital has it all over chemical for developing convenience, but i have yet to find a digital that can capture sky colours properly…

Not sure what the rights of photographers are in Australia. Possibly there are none. I know that you’re not allowed to take photos of those transparent bins at railway stations, but after that it all gets a little grey.

How to take photos of rocks
Set the camera to AUTO, select the submenu CLICHE, and press SHUTTER. Done.

This is called “Dragon’s Lair”.
There are no actual dragons. It’s just some slowly melting limestone, lit dramatically.
